I went a month without a car for daily errands and honestly it was fine. MTB and basket came from from the trash, I just put on big bars, better brake pads, and racks from my bin. Hauled a lot of scrap, brush, and several buckets of mulch.

Mentally toughing it out a bit this morning. Between work and other obligations I feel like I only really leave the house every couple of days and it didn't help looking at Strava post work out and seeing everyone doing awesome rides yesterday.

Taking my car an quick inspection tomorrow. A couple of maintenance things expected but what stood out was the odometer. Between biking and remote work I only put 7000 miles on the car this year. That's a ton saved in gas, repair needs, parking, and depreciation!

I am going a little stir crazy with the cold weather. Opportunities to truly disconnect from obligations of work and the house are rare right now. Shopping therapy instead. I put new brakes and a rack on the Univega. The brakes are a touch on the low side to allow them to accommodate a 700c setup
