Seriously. It’s time to sink AUKUS. The writing is on the wall

Australians need to find peace & security with Asia, not against it as a foreign outpost of fading Anglosphere empires a world away

Trump has sent a wrecking ball through old alliances. The implications for Australia are severe
In a world where Donald Trump doesn’t appear to know what AUKUS is, Australia can no longer rely on decades of friendship and shared values.

This really highlights the extent to which Labor has been wedged on foreign policy by the LNP, putting it in conflict with traditional Labor values.
My article in @theguardian.com about how Peter Dutton uses the Jewish community as political footballs to spread bigotry, which makes us all less safe.

Murdoch, you can’t stop me from calling out Dutton and the LNP for fueling racism!

As an Aussie, my top level take is that Zuckerberg’s complete capitulation to Trump shows why we need domestic regulation of this stuff. The way we expect to be able to talk online shouldn’t shift based on who’s in the White House
Also: the naked contempt these companies have for their customers is truly repulsive. This is the time that the tech media should be up in arms and screaming at Meta! We are at the point where measurably harmful things are happening and there's still this bland, "well that happened" reporting
Meta to get rid of factcheckers and recommend more political content
