I was lucky enough to get the final (and best) batch of the HyperFlash32. It came with all the bells and whistles AND a 3-color eInk panel (I got red, white, and black but the yellow looks cool with WarioLand VB IMO).

And the reason I used the ~ symbol is because it’s analog and inexact.
It actually fluctuates between 47 and 52 fps! Depends on your specific hardware, weather, movement of the device, etc.

Due to its SLA display, it’s worse than just 50fps! There’s zero persistence of each pixel column.
Each display updates at ~39Khz!
It scans each of the 384 columns once per frame, then blanks back for the same time, ~50 times a second! So:
~100 fps
~50 blanks
~50 sweeps of red pixel columns
