Just a reminder that when you give (or take) abiraterone for prostate cancer, you get a bunch of complex steroidal metabolites with various activities. It is messy. Below is what occurs after a single dose. 🧪

Grateful for the invitation to give a seminar March 4 at UCLA! Hope to see those there with any interest in prostate cancer, androgen physiology or steroid metabolism! Any chance to talk science these days is particularly therapeutic and a distraction from the distractions. @dgsomucla.bsky.social 🧪

About $74 million in US govt funding (including NIH) went into developing enzalutamide - a multibillion dollar drug that prolonged life for countless men with prostate cancer. Why would anyone cut this support? We need more, not less! @ascocancer.bsky.social @theaacr.bsky.social
