I apparently needed to borrow a huge 46kg shepherd dog to help me realise I'm now in pretty good shape. She's made to run around for hours - but she tires well before I do on walkies. I'm kinda torn between pride and utter shock, because I'm so not a sports person. Blame yoga/poledancing, I guess...

Fascist Russia is at war with the West. We are in the middle of World War III.

I keep coming back to #Hitler and #Trump. Although a lot of historians don't seem to acknowledge the link, Trump is a lot like Hitler, because they both rule(d) using the techniques of an entertainer. This is something we need to take seriously. Translation in alt.

(Approximate translation: Hitler: the artist as politician and high commander. An analysis of the rule of power.), pos. 5.937. Here is the translation of the text in the photo: Hitler himself expressed in 'Mein Kampf' the constitutive superiority of speech; for he considered classical written culture unsuitable for winning over 'the broad mass of a people', as these always only succumb to the power of speech. The speech was therefore the royal road to generating political following. But how did Hitler appear in his maiden speeches? What do the sparse text testimonies tell us about how he acted as a speaker on these occasions? Research agrees that he appeared as an 'entertainer'. His speeches were not long-winded and full of academic jargon; they did not dwell on tedious enumerations of facts, but came straight to the point. The political opponent was identified and attacked with a mixture of irony, wit, and sarcasm, so that the mood in the hall soon boiled and provoked interjections. The speaker Hitler attracted the audience because he delivered a performance with high entertainment value, where the style was at least as important as the content.
