Oh that thing. Yeah it's really annoying. I've also had to fiddle with settings to ensure everything is set to English and not Danish.

Yeah, but changing old superstitions in other countries where their own governments don't care is not very easy.

Trade and sustainable use enthusiasts sometimes seem to forget that legal trade alone isn't saving any rhinos. We just hope that the consequences of it will contribute to a reduction of poaching in the future, but they could also have guessed wrong, and everything will be even worse.

If trading partners are viable, there's the setting up of trade deals amid what will probably be a storm of international outrage. And then the money has to find its way back into useful rhino conservation. And you still only have a HOPE that this will reduce demand for illegal horns and poaching.

I find it somewhat premature when pro-trade lobbyists celebrate steps toward opening up trade as victories for rhinos. You don't know that yet. Legalizing trade is an experiment with many barriers in its way, such as attitudes in supposed Asian markets that have tried to reduce demand.

That's the thing. I think probably almost everyone gets it wrong by bringing in too much paper, because you don't want to risk bringing in too little.

I think a 5-minute edit window seems like the best solution. Enough time to fix typos, add a forgotten alt text, and other annoying errors, but usually not enough time to need to claim to have never said something.
