Also: Tories promising savings now while Labour also promising savings! If there are any genuine efficiencies to be had they will ALL have been found by 2029. More broadly: efficiencies = cuts in service standards making Britain sh$tter. Eg Cutting CAMHS means worse schools 4 all and worse SEMH

Granada: walk in the hills above the Alhambra - amazing network of channels carved straight through the mountains to bring water to the palace. And great to be above it looking down. Also: tacky but worth it to go to one of the Flamenco bodegas. Search recent reviews for best one

My greatest irritation with the Star Wars world is that there is no rationale as to what jobs are done by humans/beings and which are robotised. Economic illiteracy at its worst

I am a full-blooded remainer. But I also think LK DID keep pressing Farage on the issue (Reform pay rises for themselves in local govt) and he just denied all knowledge. The obscenity is not BBC, but rather voters who hold him to a profoundly different standard than other politicians.

More infuriatingly the reality is that delaying addressing the climate crisis just makes it worse AND more expensive to manage. Another version of right wing austerity economics that just end up costing FAR more
