Another observation that I haven't seen much discussion about yet: it seems #Switch2 silently fixes performance problems and improves loading speed in Switch 1 games even without a patch. I've captured some comparison footage using #AtelierYumia, a game known for its awful performance on Switch.

Ya girl represented! After answering questions about the likes of Panel de Pon, Mr. Resetti, Howard Phillips' declaration about Sega CD's Night Trap, and the Howard & Nester comics, I won and got to move to the front of the line! Tonight was a very fun night.

One issue they haven't resolved that I really wish they'd fix is that the system doesn't account for roman numerals when listing games, it's strictly alphabetical. So you end up with silly situations like this one, with FF4, FF9, and FF5 in order because IV, IX, and V are alphabetically sorted.

A cool detail about the new Nintendo Switch system update is that games with more than 5 but fewer than 10 hours of gameplay now show the specific hour count of playtime. Before the update this said "Played for 5 hours or more", but now it more specifically shows 8 hours of playtime.

In my Nintendo Switch Year in Review, I was surprised to learn that out of the 332 hours of games I played on Switch, 196 of them were #splatoon3. Whew. I also expected the #fzero99 number to be higher than 12 hours, as well.

The flavor is good, but it's not sour at all. It's a very tame but nice flavor profile. It also came with a sticker! I assume there are different ones that you can get, but my pack came with a Tri-Stringer sticker.

So I finally tried the #Splatoon3 candy and I'm happy to report that it's tasty! The purple is grape as expected, and the yellow is some sort of citrus flavor. What I didn't expect is that this is some sort of paste or gel candy. It's thick, and it feels just like a soft gummy in my mouth.

I love the Civilization games, but these notices on its Steam page makes me want to skip Civ VII entirely. At a minimum, it puts a massive damper on any excitement I had for the game.

I'm not terribly experienced with the Dragon Quest series, but I am really enjoying the HD-2D remake of Dragon Quest III so far. I let my friends make my party, so we're rolling with a Monster Wrangler, a Priest, and a Gadabout. I wonder if the Gadabout will ever become useful?

Wow, that's fascinating! I never knew that about PAL boxes. In the US, the "Only For" tick was present for exclusive third-party games as well.

This is my buddy, Burrito! Also known as "bebs" or "the beb" or any babytalk variety of that, he's a total sweetie who loves to snuggle. When it's cold he'll burrow himself under blankets and go go sleep. That's how he got his name -- he loves being wrapped up like a burrito!
