i think about akira and y'shtola's deaf and blind language exchange a lot
Art (against a black background) of my OC, Akira, a short-eared, Deaf Viera with deep brown hair pulled halfway into a messy bun and dressed in a dark green scarf, light green kimono top (from which a fluffy tail sticks out) tied with a green sash, and even darker brown pants. He's facing Y'shtola (who's dressed in her Shadowbringers outfit) and chatting with her using Protactile American Sign Language. Both their expressions and body language are attentive to each other but also casual. Y'shtola's right hand is gently holding Akira's left hand while he signs "can" in American Sign Language. His right hand is open to his palm for Y'shtola to draw a tactile map with her left index finger, which is a circle that designates a location. There are two bright yellow arrows near their hands expressing movement and indicating direction of the signs and gestures. Two light blue speech bubbles between them read out what they're saying. Y'shtola says: "It's around here. Find it for us?" Akira responds: "I can do that."
