My point is that the middle class doesnt actually exist, they are either proletariats or they are bourgeois, but the idea of a middle class creates more of a divide amongst proles

I disagree, Marx categorized prostitutes, homeless people, and other lower class and destitute workers amongst lumpenproles.

I'd argue that the 'middle class' centrist more fits that discription nowadays than most sex workers and low wage workers do.

The entire concept of a 'middle class' at all creates a class divide among proletariats that doesnt actually exist.

I also had a friend who was hit and died crossing the street several years ago in my neighborhood, she was getting coffee for her employees at a shop across from her restaurant, the driver was being impatient and didnt see her.

Portland ME has a totally different culture around cars, so much safer.

I live in Ohio and *legally* pedestrians have the right of way, but culturally, people in cars will literally kill you. The first few months I lived here I volunteered at a bike co-op and the first thing I did was help make a ghost bike for someone who had been hit and killed..
