9. Higher ed focus was on behaviour and animals, with cognitive science, psychology, ecology, zoology, conservation biology. Kinda rolled into the social psychology research, but really enjoying it.

10. Feel free to ask more. I'm looking forward to connect with like-minded people.

7. As much time as I spend in education, I don't really thrive in it (understatement).

8. Got diagnosed with ADHD in my 30s, which explains the above a bit. Also deal with HSD/hEDS, PCOS, endometriosis, allergic rhinitus+asthma, food allergies. Suspected pots, autism and IBS.

6. Fluent in Dutch and English. Decent reading and understanding in German, but less speaking or writing. Exposed to French from Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur parts. Can understand it a bit, but not speak it. I can only learn languages by exposure not in classrooms for some reason?!

Im not saying I don't like it. It's not too bad. However I don't habe to pretend that this role is everything to me and not about the money at all. It's a nice and realistic approach to department/company culture.

Yeah it's a benefit. However it does price people out of the neighbourhood they lived in for ages. Best is a compromise. Rent control, more social services, more investment in the people and neighbourhood, without ruining the existing and pushing people out. Which causes other problems. Not easy tbh

Everyone that age, studying Chaucer also tends to speak fluent(ish) English. So they got both languages going for them. It still looks more English than Dutch to me, as a native Dutch speaker.

I didn't think they were that related, but when I started ADHD medication my anxiety (+ panic attacks) and depression reduced a lot. It's not gone. That said, not everyone is the same. I can imagine treating anxiety and therefore coping better with ADHD as well.

BMI isn't super accurate for most people and should not be the reason to aim for a certain weight. It's much more important to look at heart and lung health, fat percentage and muscle amount. No need to look super muscled, but you need some degree of muscle across your body to feel comfortable.

Didn't he strangle himself with a pully system that helped him move after he contracted polio?

What you might be able to do is highlight indigenous people who do tell these stories. So you are not telling them, but you are referring people to the right place. I understand people wanting to know, but I agree you shouldn't be the one telling them.
