NBA Trade Idea Sends Kevin Durant to New Unexpected Team

Really enjoyed writing about one of my favorite college players, Jase Richardson. If he declares this year, he would be one of the younger rookies in the NBA, but you wouldn’t know it watching him.
Son of Ex-Warriors Star Could Be Kings' Top 2025 NBA Draft Target
The Sacramento Kings are in real danger of missing the play-in tournament entirely after another bad loss to the Orlando Magic. It’s increasingly clear that the

There are so many other things that the NFL needs to fix and instead they go for this because a bunch of owners are embarrassed that their teams can’t do it as well
Momentum around banning the tush push in the NFL is growing, per @diannarussini.bsky.social.

The positive of this is that Malik, Keon, DeMar, Keegan, and Jonas is really balanced lineup

Hope Zach is okay too. Never like to hear “personal reasons” come out of no where
According to the NBA’s injury report, Zach LaVine (personal reasons) has joined Domantas Sabonis as out for tonight’s game against the Cavs. Jake LaRavia is questionable due to illness.

The Kings with 35 Assists and just 13 Turnovers tonight, the two most important stats for this team IMO.

They are now 20-9 (.690) this season when they record at least 28 Assists.

Loved the bench guys’ performances tonight and sounds like Doug Christie did too

That 2025 Spurs pick that the Kings somehow didn’t get is looking pretty good right now

Imagine the Kings had the 9th pick and could grab someone like Kasparas Jakucionis

1. You get a 19 year old 6’6” PG who plays defense

2. You complete the Lithuanian trifecta with Sabonis and Valanciunus

The annoying part about not starting at least a “partial” rebuild of this team at the deadline is there are teams like the pistons and rockets who weren’t even expected to compete and are both top 6 seeds

While the Kings filled with veterans and limited draft capital are about to slip to .500

I have no idea where I could possibly find this but the Kings must lead the lead in time with one player dribbling and all 4 others standing in place

Suns come out hot again and Doug Christie calls timeout

Now he’s probably going to put Keon in just like the first quarter

Would be easier if he just started

Might not be exactly what fans want to hear, but at least we know what to expect for the rest of the season

Really like what the patriots are doing this off season
Source: The Patriots are adding again on defense, signing Raiders edge rusher K'Lavon Chaisson to a 1-year, $5M deal. The former first-rounder came on strong in Las Vegas.

Was going to repost Greg’s earlier point about trading DeMar and say almost the same thing

DeMar is still really productive but he’s not a fit on this roster anymore. I’m not sure he ever was but bringing Lavine over means he really isn’t. Would be great for a good defensive team that needs buckets
To be clear, I also really like DeMar! I like all these guys! They’re very good players, but roster construction matters. DeMar should be moveable, as he’s a very good value to contract.

The play-in is a double edged sword

You make it, you get a chance at the playoffs but your pick conveys to the Hawks

You don’t make it and a few teams pass you and you have a shot at a impact rookie or leverage for a trade

This is also why pick protections are importantly to get right
