Got to stop listening to critics- after 50 years!
After The Guardian gave 2** to #lifeofchuck I dismissed it.
Watched last night, and what a surprise. thought it was touching, thought provoking, and really well directed.. highly recommend.

Boo fucking hoo. It's built on THEFT. "I don't know how I'd ask all those people or afford to pay for all their work." Then you DON'T GET TO HAVE IT. These would-be geniuses have convinced themselves that something in their miracle blah-blah machine is so inherently amazing rules don't apply.
“I just don’t know how you go around, asking everyone first. I just don’t see how that would work,” Clegg said. “And by the way if you did it in Britain and no one else did it, you would basically kill the AI industry in this country overnight.”
Nick Clegg says asking artists for use permission would ‘kill’ the AI industry

This film is extraordinarily.
Stand out movie this year.
The movie just out, “2073” on Netflix — is about a post Trump presidency world which turns extremely dystopian.

I thought I was watching breaking news —-

Wow- I wasn’t expecting that. #Betterman the story of Robbie Williams really was excellent.
A cinematic treat (and I’m not a massive fan of RW)

Why Am I So Single was not top of my theatre list, but it defied all expectations.
Funny, moving and great songs. See it while you can.
It ends January.

Launched my new book today. Such a mix of emotions. Relief for sure. Also feeling very vulnerable. The book is very personal in places. And nervous. I spent 2 years writing it, but you never know if it’s what others want to read until you start getting feedback. Well it’s done so bring it on!

Friday night at BAFTA- Lovely to hear how Greg got his dream job on Horrible Histories by eavesdropping his bosses conversation that a potential little TV show was a possibility.
