The feelings of empathy, #sonder, and anxiety as I make my rounds to each newly admitted patient's room to introduce myself and my role in their rehabilitation.This energy reminds me of a tattoo I once saw on on a beautiful young waitress that read, "attached to nothing but connected to everything."

I love the idea of this. Writing books. Creating art, building something, inventing something, playing music. Existing.
Someday you will write the book.
Most people will not read it. But someone will, and it will change something inside them.
Then they will write a book, wholly their own, but slightly indebted to your ideas.
And so on.
The chain never ends. There are echoes of you at the end of the world.
