Watching the clock count down the hours to the next time your kids have to go back to your abuser (for 8 days) is the worst feeling in the world. I am permanently scarred from him (in every sense of the word) and I can't protect them the way they deserve.

Who else is part of the "is my coffee cup STILL empty?" club? How many times do you pick it up, look inside, and make a disappointed face before you get more? That's a sign to make more coffee, right? ☕

Even *if* you accept Stephen Miller’s (textually, historically, and morally indefensible) claim that undocumented immigrants are not entitled to due process, you’d *still* need due process to ensure that the individuals at issue are, in fact, undocumented.

One of my companies informed me they cancelled a $2m conference in Florida. Why ?
They didn’t feel they could pass on the incremental cost of tariffs. So they are cutting expenses.

NEW: The USDA acknowledged that over the weekend, it accidentally fired "several" agency employees who are working on the federal government's response to the H5N1 avian flu outbreak.
