how are we supposed to survive day-to-day life under a leader who doesn’t care if he throws the country into regular turmoil with his daily capricious whims that breed panic and insecurity in our citizens. They’re trying to burn it down, and they don’t care how many of us burn with it.

My first listserv was an Anne of Green Gables fan group. 🤦‍♀️

Then when I have to go back and write the synopsis for the program, I just adapt the already distilled version. Not sure it this translates to books, but it works well for my kind of narrative.

I have to do something similar for opera plots. I make a scene breakdown. For each scene (chapter, in your case, I guess), I write 2-3 sentences summing up that scene. Then I come up with a catchy title for the scene, I.e. The Queen of the Night Loses Her Shit.

I watched Will and Harper on Netflix in solidarity with trans folks who are about to be even more egregiously targeted.
