Hello! Yes, the credentials of the person writing the article are so incredibly important. Lots of false information is spread every day, mostly originating from non-credible sources. I always make sure to "background" check the authors for this reason! Apples and peanut butter sounds so delicious!

This is so true! I feel like whatever we learn to eat as kids is what we enjoy as adults. The things we learn about food as kids turn into lifelong food palettes, and this easily influences our decisions. This is why it is so important to introduce healthy eating habits to kids when they are young!

Exactly! I really appreciate how Tom included his struggles, unfiltered and raw. He presented his true journey to weight loss; not just the results and good moments. Tom's story is both inspiring and eye opening. It made me realize how other's negative comments can severely hurt an individual.

I didn't know this fact & it is extremely sad that some children may face obesity throughout their lives because of something that is completely out of their control. You're right- there's so many factors that contribute to obesity that is not realized by the general public. We need more education.

Hello! I just overcame this barrier myself. I found that meal prepping nutritious meals ahead of time is super helpful for when I am busy but in-need of a quick meal. If I don't have anything meal prepped, I often cook a quick, but nourishing meal with fruits and some type of protein. You got this!

Agreed! Avocados are great. They're full of healthy fats and fiber. I like to pair them with my meals to keep me feeling full and satisfied. For this reason, avocados are great for weight management. However, like anything else, overconsumption could yield the opposite effects. Delicious!

Hello! This is a great idea because as the article stated, most pancakes are made with refined flour (empty calories). This makes them not ideal for a food you will be eating right in the morning. This article combined science with flavor to create new, healthy recipes. I have to try this sometime!

I looked into this diet after reading your post and realized that no food is consumed during this "cleanse"... how does this work?? Isn't this dangerous? I would assume that all of the weight lost during this diet would be immediately gained back after normal consumption of food begins again. Right?
