asking about my psychological state or if I would like any resources was not included in any of that. My first thought was to check OJP website for law enforcement/EMS grants but then I remembered me and my accident are only the issue in my bubble, the world is still on fire. 😩

I feel like EMS/police could at least provide people with a list of resources and normalize seeking MH treatment after a serious accident (traumatic event) especially if injuries of any kind are sustained? Start to finish people I interacted with expected a lot considering I was concussed… but

So fucking terrifying. (Am I allowed to say that here?!)

Unfortunately after a few doozies, I can at least have some interesting data for pre- and post- being therapist/training with responses because it really alters the way I’ve processed traumatic events.

I was peacefully sitting, stopped in a left turning lane waiting patiently well behind the line and had just realized I was almost 10 min early (IYKYK) ~1 mile from my daughter’s game. My Jeep is totaled and it’s been a rough/concussed week of forced gratitude via reminder that in any given moment
