Well, I remembered this app existed again … so, I figured I’d remind the mutuals that migrated here that I too, exist!

Dear March—Come in—
How glad I am—
I hoped for you before—
Put down your Hat—
You must have walked—
How out of Breath you are—
Dear March, how are you, and the Rest—
Did you leave Nature well—
Oh March, Come right upstairs with me—
I have so much to tell—

I know the answer is because we’re under resourced but I’ve never once in my entire life thought about this so - why do we not connect people in serious car accidents with MH resources or do more than tell concussed patients that experiencing a traumatic event may lead to PTSD symptoms?

It seems fitting to dramatically (re)introduce myself over here because I had a near death experience involving lots of air bags this week, so, needless to say I’m increasingly aware that I’ve missed so many of you & am happy you exist and I exist so… I should probably… interact or something. 🥹🫂

I think it’s time to do some behavioral therapy on myself to force my patterns to shift because 😩😴

My problem with statements like, “X indicates a mental health issue” is that it fails to differentiate or explain that the “mental health issue” may be endogenous or exogenous. An undiagnosed MH condition ≠ someone under-supported experiencing overwhelming stress.

Today is World Diabetes Day.

Good day to fill gaps in awareness and to show gratitude for your pancreas if you have one that functions properly! 💙
