Ugh. My family straight up made me cry the other day. They know how important Christmas tree decorating day is to me and how much I love it, so they set up the tree to decorate before I move. 🥹

Ugh, I cried too much today. Moving in a couple weeks and I get this letter from a student of the ESL ministry we started at church last year.

Last year, we had a school assignment to create our own font. I tried making a decorative steampunk serif font, taking inspiration from clock hands and old Victorian newspapers.
My dyslexic friends have said it was near impossible to read. So I want to try to fix that.

WIP of a drawing I felt compelled to do.
Long story short, I felt like God said to prepare a Christmas gift for someone who isn't here yet. And I draw things for people 90% of the time. So we're doing a little drawing for that.
I'm praying this doesn't result in me being let down...

The urge to comment on the videos of "Free" from K-Pop Demon Hunters and respond to the shippers saying "THEORY! Jinu is Rumi's father" is strong... but I don't hate myself enough to deal with that backlash...
I'm even scared to joke about it here with limited interactions 😅😅😅😅

In stark contrast to my last post... this assignment's struggle was "how the crap do I make this Not Like Other Girls ™️ of tea look like tea?"
Because the assignment debrief said they didn't want calming imagery, they wanted to show excitement in the taste buds and make people hyped for tea!

Throwback to college when my biggest stressor was trying to ensure this did NOT look like tea. Because (I still want to ask my instructor about this) who boxes jam/jelly/marmalade? Legitimate question!

Weird idea I had once. Chibi goth characters for stickers and stuff. The Alt+Clique, as I call them. I wanted to make cute characters in different subgenres of goth fashion, but school was hellish, so that got put on the back burner. But I still like the ideas.

Trying to remember if this was the first time I had to use glaze for the front cover, and it's hard to see in the light, but in real life, the BTS logo shines behind Jin.

What better way to begin posting here than with a very dorky personal project? I paid for a Backerkit campaign for a weighted stuffed dragon. And me being me, I already named him, he has personal meaning and lore, so what did I do? I thought, "What if he was 💜✨️A BRAND✨️💜??" Ergo, Style Guide time!
