because Random Stranger is completely correct about Shadow of the Beast, I will choose a random game that is a good Master System game: Shanghai
The fact that this never got a Japanese release, despite having an FM soundtrack and Japan loving Shanghai, really shows what a flop the SMS was there

the great tragedy of the LaserActive is that "The Great Pyramid" is not the sequel to "Pyramid Patrol"; it should still be about the actual Great Pyramid, just needs a rail shooter added

today's lunch is a chicken, pesto, spicy pepper spread, and spring mix sandwich on a demi-ciabatta roll... my wife always calls this sort of sandwich from me a "scooby doo sandwich", I just call it delicious

Today's Random Game Saturday is King of Fighters '99 for the Neo Geo CD! The last SNK Neo Geo CD game afaik, the CD platform was definitely showing its limitations by now, but hey, the arranged soundtrack was still great

Again... Random Game Saturday returns... Fatal Fury 2! For the Neo Geo, and I threw in the Arcade Card version for the PC Engine for flavor. A classic, though definitely one that shows its age

Today's "Random Game Saturday" is Popful Mail for the PC Engine CD! This version is a lot closer to the PC versions than the Sega CD port, but I will admit I find the latter more fun. Not sure if that's nostalgia.

Today's "Random Game Saturday" is Popful Mail for the PC Engine CD! This version is a lot closer to the PC versions than the Sega CD port, but I will admit I find the latter more fun. Not sure if that's nostalgia.

A random game on Saturday? If you insist... it's Retro-bit's re-release of Irem's Metal Storm! The SMD133 mapper here appears to have started on pirate multicarts, so it's kind of neat to see it end up in something actually licensed
