The buzz of chat when a book is launched. This was a book about ship design, so that's a good word in this context. Well worth a read. sailorshop.co.uk/products/the...

Our Knitting Nana does it for the joy it brings people. She reuses them from one year to the next if they will stand it and updates them if needed. She does several seasonal things sometimes others like Olympics and the football. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... Here's Christmas.

Next time I'm out and about in professional capacity, book launches etc, I'll be wearing my lovely 'Index' badge made by Jenny Maidment from an old copy of Which? magazine. Double whammy as I used to work for them, but not 'that' long ago.

#ShowMeYourKnits I'm in the summer club with this one Mylys summer shirt, sleeveless, this is the back view. Made from Aldi's linen yarn and cost me £4. A cunning one piece design that was fiddly at the top but super on the way down. www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...

In my garden there is a young oak tree. Some aphids are on the stems, being herded by some ants. Some wasps are on the leaves, I assume getting the honeydew that has come out of the aphids. Sweet. #TinyJoys
