Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.

I hope that @zackpolanski.bsky.social didn’t eat before #BBCQT because he had Zia for dinner last night!!! 😂😂😂

What a breath of fresh air, particularly for calling out the fear mongering and misinformation!
“You can’t blame austerity on one hand, but then say it’s the immigrants. The immigrants haven’t caused austerity.”

🔴 2023 was also the driest year for global rivers in 33 years.

🌡️ Rising temperatures are speeding up the hydrological cycle, making it more erratic and unpredictable.

🔵 This means we’re increasingly facing extremes—too much water in some places and too little in others.

“The cryosphere, the white landscapes, is the canary in the coal mine of climate and biodiversity crises..."

A nice article in the latest @wmo-global.bsky.social Bulletin highlighting how these fragile environments are being impacted by #climatechange
The Cryosphere – the Canary in the Coal Mine of the Climate System
Coal mines once used canaries as early indicators of potential danger: their sensitivity to poisonous gases caused their early demise during gas leaks, sounding a danger alarm for miners.

Even with the forecast by @wmo-global.bsky.social of La Niña conditions in the tropical Pacific, it may be short-lived and insufficient to counterbalance the warming conditions experienced in 2024. We need to be prepared for extreme weather events, with impacts in many parts of the world. #EW4All

Hey @alfiehouse.bsky.social, just a reminder 🤣
Hey @alfiehouse.bsky.social, here’s a question to RM: if he believes his tactics are not the problem (fair point if he believes that), does he think the players are not good enough then? Is either one or the other… (of course it can be both 🤔)
