Interesting point. Both my grandmothers slid into dementia hard, but they retained a tenacious reading ability devouring paperbacks while eating meals and watching golf or tennis til their death joking about them constantly. Still wonder what was so important about those book clubs 😉

Missouri passed anything goes betting with no restrictions (except they tell you whether you're gonna lose or win on slots.) It's terrible for me (from a family of addicts) and the bar I work at and everyone. It's the wild wild West here. No restrictions and the schools will never see a dime of it.

I should've specified when I lived there. I agree. Way too broad of a generalization, there is a stereotype about NM. Can't explain it, but Midwesterns and those abroad sometimes assume things about NM that aren't true like there on "our team" or "one of us" crap
