I like discussions with all types of people. Discrimination is not okay, nor is being an a-hole. If you don't like what I say, move on, and we'll all be better for it.

My favorite thing about physics is how it's always forcing me to rethink my assumptions about how reality works. Now @kpc.bsky.social has rounded up all the weirdest, most mind-blowing physics findings of the past year 🧪 Topics include the multiverse, quantum physics, causality, and time itself!
These are most mind-melting physics discoveries of 2024

I've seen this before, but it never gets old. So clever.

This. 👇
When I think about Joe & Mika appeasing Trump so they can maintain their comfy lives, I think about Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss enduring years of harassment for simply doing their jobs.

So when Joe defends it by saying people need to live in the real world, he should respectfully go screw himself.

This is so true for so many reasons. I really love this.

Um, yes please? Release away!
BREAKING: MTG threatens to expose “all” of GOP’s “Sexual Harassment and Assault Claims” if Matt Gaetz report is released:

“All your sexual harassment & assault claims that were secretly settled paying off victims with taxpayer money…If we’re going to dance, let’s all dance in the sunlight”

Ah, so he's indiscriminate with his hatred and ignorance. Check.

Does Trump have to sneak away to have a moment without Elon? Does he say he has to go to the bathroom but really goes out the backdoor?

Men in the military will not be safe without women in the military. To suggest only men should be in combat roles means one has unfortunately gotten their head stuck up their ass. Someone call 911, they can't breathe.

The construction and agricultural industries would be destroyed. Hope those that voted for Trump enjoy paying 50% more for a house because of increased labor costs. The 50% is made up by me, but I fear I'm low-balling it.
What happens when you deplete the work force? Everyone suffers.

I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately, though, people have forgotten how to talk to others and be open for discussion. I will get more hate in my inbox for this, too. Nothing written here is offensive or rude, but some people will hear it that way...without ever taking the time to talk.
It's going to be interesting to see how @bluesky evolves it's moderation. How much will be driven by the community, who it upsets and how final decisions are made.

One thing I believe. The world doesn't need another algorithmically inflamed, individually moderated, free speech platform
Our post was mistakenly labeled the first time, so we thought we should run it back.

How are any of us better if a simple, respectful reply turns into the very hate everyone left X for? Someone posted something that a person said. I didn't agree with what they said, but the way they said it wasn't disrespectful, so I dared to ask why an immediate block by another? It's really sad.

Trump is going to need to go to Ikea and get a lot more display cases. He's running out of room for all of the balls he has collected. I mean, you have to display them properly, not just in a drawer or something.

I think there is some other things going on that no one seems to talk about. The SecDef oversees nearly a $1T budget with A LOT of defense contracts. The latest Secretary of Energy has oil interests. The head of the FCC wants to clear the way for a $900M SpaceX subsidy. Don't lose sight of the $.
US agency will not reinstate $900 mln subsidy for SpaceX Starlink unit
The U.S. Federal Communications Commission on Tuesday reaffirmed its 2022 decision to deny SpaceX satellite internet unit Starlink $885.5 million in rural broadband subsidies.

"We're not sure which side of the aisle the Nazis marching in the streets are coming from" something going around. Looking at you Dana Bash. Riiiight. You know, all of those liberal, freedom Nazis running around. So confusing, just can't be sure which side is driving hate. Guess we'll never know. 🤷‍♂️

Director Fede Álvarez was so excited by the success of Alien: Romulus that he began working on the next installment. Unfortunately, the concept art of the new xenomorph scared the shit out of the test audiences, so he is sticking with the less disgusting chest burster. I mean, just look at it. 🤢🤮👽

I really need some help. Since I'm back on social media again, I've been off since 2017, I thought I would turn to the great people here for that help. There's a word limit, so I'm trying to share via a JPEG. Not sure if this will work, but worth a try.
