The other three coaches had a ton of assistants come back, too. That hasn't happened in Buffalo. A lot of those guys didn't play much or weren't supposed to. Point still stands, and it's undeniable based on signing Shaq Lawson in 2025, that McDermott's narrowing the pool for Beane to pick from.
