Great to hear that the BBC has a zero tolerance approach to racism, such as having Nigel Farage on Question Time 38 times

Just watched every Eurovision entry and this is NOT a vintage year.
Distinct lack of camp, too many sincere ballads - why bother?
Latvia could win it, but Malta should.

Just watched Sinners and I think it’s just excellent. Huge genre shifts, beautiful cinematography and goosebumps every time Miles Caton sang.

1. I have trans friends.
2. I’m a queer man who recognises the exact same propaganda used against trans folks as was used against us in the past.
3. I don’t think a woman’s worth should be defined by whether she can or cannot carry/give birth to a child.
4. Nobody’s free until we’re all free.
cis folks, i'm curious for you to share answers, if you want:

what made you start caring about trans rights? who'd you know/what happened? tell me the story.

Sometimes all it takes for people to wake up to the vastness of the wealth gap is an irrelevant b-list pop star taking an $11million 10 minute taxi ride to the edge of the atmosphere for a publicity stunt while everyday folks struggle to afford their rent and groceries.

Had to turn off shipping to the US because everything gets returned to the UK since the *cough* “change in administration” 🙃 so not only do we then have to refund the sale, but we make a loss on the shipping *and* pay for warehouse restock fees.
So sorry, American friends.

“I’d like a custom perfume and I want 50 bottles to start with and every component should be bespoke and I want to pay less than £10 per bottle and I don’t want to have to pay for the bespoke elements and I think that’s a reasonable request”

If someone asked me about my week in Helsinki, I think I’d hand them this perfume. Naughty and flirtatious, the kind of perfume that makes you stick your chest out and feel your oats. A solid leather accord with spicy complements. Tom of Finland, eat your heart out!

How people think fragrance evaluators feed back to their perfumers: “The trend this client is keen on means you should increase the vanilla blah blah blah…”

How evaluators ACTUALLY feed back: “Now it smells like cake in B&Q, I think this mod brings the woodiness up too much. Smells like MDF, innit”

Bouquets upon bouquets of divine immortal flowers immersed in the flames of Hades. This perfume dignifies its namesake and the inspiration. Similar to the other EdB perfumes, the scent creates a full scene, where now I see Orpheus suppliant before Persephone.

The balance between earthiness and sweetness in this perfume can only be described as “masterful”. The jammy fruits are wrist-bitingly delicious, whilst the carrot seed, geranium, and black tea are expansive in scope. This isn’t just a cuppa, it’s the whole damn party.

Music picks up where language fails, which explains why “Such Great Heights” came back to me the moment I sprayed this transcendant ‘green’ fragrance. Not just ‘another green’ - it’s the hanging gardens of Babylon meets a yet unknown metropolis; I don’t want to leave.

Just between us chickens, I’d like to send out a plea to the guardians of our memories; iconic classic perfumes from big name brands, that once the juice is a zombie perfume, please kill it. Once the jasmine is just a memory and the bans and attempts at modernisations zombify the original, let it go
