TBH, I haven't really used beta readers either, only critique partners. I would need to look into it but guess it would be general impressions about what works and what doesn't, are characters relatable, etc.

Yeah, I would. If you'd like to swap, I'm hoping to get my current edit beta ready by new year. It concerns a VR sim of a TV show in which the underlying AI goes amok and traps an entrant. If not, I'll still read!
