I found one once in New Zealand. Only time I've ever seen one in the carapace. Gorgeous little critters.

Alipay - I didn't find the translate button for about 2 days... I was bamboozled with the lack of pay by card facilities until I got around Alipay. I didn't use WeChat but it is a crazy place for non-Chinese speakers to try adn figure out.

That's a lot politer than some of the names I have thought of for him, but I rather like that one...

We learned to make sure not to plan anything involving state monuments on a Monday! Half the city attractions were closed. Also, getting used to paying for stuff was interesting, took us about 2 days to get into it properly.

Thank you. Not sure I should join in on this one, we do 190 days and I'm 3/4 of the way through this year as well!

Wow, that's gorgeous. I love Kingfishers - there is such variety globally as well. The NZ one (the kōtare) is very much duller than your one or the English one.

Not to worry. I'll try and get myself a copy of it once I move back to England 😁

Is there a specific geographic location this applies to? I will be working with a couple of new science teachers in term 4 (October) here in NZ.

Once I was out early in the morning in the Hampshire countryside and actually saw them boxing. Most of the hares I've seen have been around Hants now I come to think of it!

Thank you. A good one.

Summer? Remind me what that is, please. I'm in NZ, it's winter and it has rained solidly for the past two weeks of the mid year break...
