An abomination! I think I need to find a new crowd on Instagram because over there a sprayed edge is cause for quite implausibly riotous scenes. The excitement is disturbing. The contents of the book in question are of course an irrelevance.

I’ve been too scared for too long to say what I really think about sprayed edges for fear of ostracization from the book community. Can you go first please?

It is a lovely village. I’ve played a few rounds at the Chevin with members: the Riley’s (Mike, John and David) are probably on a board in the clubhouse somewhere.

Yes. I was born and grew up in Derby, though we had a shop in Duffield when I was little, and me and my dad played cricket for them for many years. My family are still in Derby.

I’ve just noticed in your profile you’re a Derby fan - are you from there?

Here in France every village has a ‘bassin’ with free running water. As a cyclist, a runner, and a parent I have always appreciated this.
