Progress? When I was 17 I had a car with a valve radio. Didn't dare sit there with it turned on and the engine off, it drew so much power the battery went flat. Next we had transistor radios, perfect. Now I'm 72, my new car has a digital radio. If you sit with the radio on, the battery goes flat!

Apparently some 1.5 million people have signed a petition against ID cards in UK. However, without ID we're unsure who these people are. It could be 1 bloke in a shed with 1.5million identities and so the government will ignore the petition 🙂

Here's an idea: replace all car registration numbers with your mobile number. That way I can phone you and say 'speed up a bit mate' or ' what the F are you playing at'.

It's been more than two hours since a massive power cut left swathes of Spain and Portugal without power.

What's the difference between "extreme temperature variations” had produced a “rare atmospheric phenomenon" and Absolute Bollocks? It's about 22 degrees C in Spain, how did that cause a problem? They must be as thick as shit to think we're as thick as shit.

Little known fact 4:
20/20 vision, the first figure is the distance from the eye chart in feet, 2nd figure is the distance the average person can see it at. So if you have 20/15 vision, you can see what the average person can see at 15 feet, so better than average.
