In children with septic shock and no known cardiac dysfunction, starting treatment with norepinephrine rather than epinephrine was associated with lower 30-day mortality.

I think that could work just fine, especially given the kinetics of NfL compared w some of the other biomarkers, some of which peak early enough that they may not help after 72h.

Not in this dataset, but we are currently doing a randomized trial of SGA vs BVM placed by FF/EMTs for OHCA that will
include some fairly detailed ventilation meaurements in both arms. Different question

agree w others. benefit, if any, is not immediate, but a small reduction in long-term neurological sequelae. seems that propensity to use depends on ease of access to appropriate chamber.
