Him: Zizi did you get more donuts?
Me: Yup.
5 minutes later
Me: What do you want for breakfast?
Him: broccoli

Thank goodness for @greengiant-es.bsky.social lightly sauced steamer pack.

He did have a donut after the broccoli.

This article has the same vibes as when they said that Don't Say Gay wouldn't take books out of schools in Florida. A law like that would put the most vulnerable members of our society at such a high risk for no real reason.
New York’s ‘mask ban’ wouldn’t actually ban masks
But opponents still worry that it could have a chilling effect on people who wear masks for health or safety reasons.

Just a quick reminder that books won't turn your kids trans or gay or anything else. What they will do is make your kid feel less alone and find a connective love that can only be found in others who have the same shared experiences as your kid. #bookbans #booksky

Scarlett, the survivor of a sexual assault perpetrated by Neil Gaiman, has officially filed a civil case both against Neil Gaiman and also Amanda Palmer. This is hard to read, but the book world NEEDS TO ACKNOWLEDGE THIS.
Well, this was the most harrowing fucking thing I've ever had to work on, and I'm just the damn lawyer. Can't imagine the client living it, and it's a goddamn privilege to represent her.

DO NOT READ THIS unless you can handle details of some truly vile sexual abuse by Neil Gaiman.

I've loved John Waters since I was a teenager and I've read like all of the things that he has written. This remains one of my all time favorite quotes of his. Also it's the best unsolicited dating advice I have ever received.
Books are the coolest. 😎📚

Do you know why a president would do all the most evil and heinous shit via Executive Order? Because his party can't easily make it law. And if they can't make it law, they can't make it last.

Don't let anyone make you feel like this is The End. Do not let them demoralize you. Live to see them die.
