Spent 2 years in Spain in my early twenties. It was a wonderful country but I missed the cosmopolitanism of the UK. 30 years later Spain is vibrant economy with a grownup attitude towards immigration while the UK is becoming increasingly paranoid and xenophobic. www.theguardian.com/world/2025/f...
