Maybe, but the initial remark put the problem in a partisan framing. I agree that the problem is mostly owned by the right but I don’t think anyone has the solution right now. I don’t think anyone will make progress on this issue by shaming.

I mean that’s fair, I just mean that the promotion of the self and self interest above all else isn’t only a problem on the right. I agree it’s a problem tho.

I think this comes from the left as much as from the right but in a different flavor. “Follow your passion and express yourself at all costs” is a similar message, but I don’t think it’s exclusively directed at men.

yeah i feel like a lot of this "Biden coverup reckoning" is a circle jerk between legacy media elites and establishment dems who are trying to perform accountability to prove theyre a different party. But they're not doing accountability about anything that actually matters to voters
