Results from a little WinUIEx experiment this weekend. Simple API to create regions and set them:
window.SetRegion(
Region.CreateRectangle(window.GetBounds())
- Region(rectangle.GetBounds());
Can also be used to clip the outside of the window to a custom shape. #WinUI

My experience with the latest two major updates for Windows (24H2 and prior) has been this every day:
Having to kill some random "COM Surrogate" processes to be able to rename/move files as Windows keep a file handle open when creating thumbnails.

I like finding these kind of bugs. Looks like Copilot being a web app (PWA ?) it also shows a progress bar when you download something in Edge.
