It's new gear day with the SSL2+ MkII! I honestly wasn't sure I'd notice a difference but yeah, 100% worth it. I've gone from needing to process the shit out of my mic ins, to barely needing a touch of EQ/comp now. Didn't think the DLZ Creator was so subpar in its ADC chain, but apparently so!

So, apparently Arby's just did a double shrinkflation on us...went to get some mozzarella sticks and not only were they 40 cents more expensive than last time (bringing them to over $1 per stick), but they shrunk them by at least 25% so they're shorter than the holder now. This is ridiculous!

I happened upon this new old stock pelican system selector pro. What a cool piece of equipment! I had to buy it, works great with all my retro consoles and retrotink 4k!

Of course I can't help myself so I just ordered a new TV stand in white to go with all this. Current one below (slightly older pic), definitely doesn't match anything. Never thought I'd be the kind of person to care but I guess I do 🤷

Almost finished! Just waiting on an old Pelican AV switcher to come in so I can use the consoles from here on the TV just left out of frame. Still working on tidying up the rest of the room and my computer room needs some serious help but that's what the long weekend is for!

Last week I finally got to see my favorite band in concert. I thought I had missed my opportunity when Chester died just weeks from the show I had tickets for back in 2017. I wasn't going to pass up this opportunity - I rarely say this about concerts these days but it was worth every penny!
