A work diversion today enabled a visit to Titchfield Haven for the Hudsonian Godwit which showed well and spent most of the time feeding! The hide wasn't as packed as I imagined too. Fantastic reserve

Excellent passage of Brent's offshore again this morning including 1 flock of c200 birds. My first Sandwich Terns of the year, a Knot, 35 Sanderling and 2 Grey Plover were on the beach...mipits trickling in all morning #ukbirds 🪶

Excellent morning up at Staines Reservoirs this morning between jobs. 2 Water Pipits performed well by the water tower on the north basin, 4 Black-necked Grebes, 2 Great-northern Divers and the presumed over-wintering Common Sandpiper was around. #ukbirds 🪶

Great day on the fens today! 2 Long-eared Owls, Short-eared and Tawny Owl, 8 plus Cranes, 2 Bewick's Swans, 100's of Whooper Swans..relocated 2 Tundra Bean Geese after they left Eldernell...magic 🪶 #ukbirds
