my #FirstBirdOfMyDay that I noticed was a Great Spotted woodpecker on my feeders outside my office window! SO EXCITED!!!

A Red Kite overhead was my #FirstBirdOfMyDay
And then I saw the female Blackbird refreshing their nest,so I think she’s about to have a second brood!

#firstbirdofmyday was quite the drama a crow attacking the pigeons nest.she was having none of it and saw it off, it then sat on the roof of the house nest door and shouted a load of abuse at the pigeons before flying off!

I know! for the last 3 years or so, I don't know it is the same one, does make me wonder if it imprinted on one of the Canada gees, and thinks it's on of them, can that happen? 🤷♂️

My #firstbirdofmyday was again the black bird in the garden, having a bath. While walking the hound the local gaggle of Canada geese were out in force with their young, and their resident Greylag. I don’t know if the Greylag imprinted on a Canada goose but they are there together every year.

My #forstbirdofmyday was a whole load of Crows mobbing a Red Kite. Saw a Stone Chat in the New Forest yesterday that was a first for me.
