I can also see Joe Arpaio's assistant, Kevin Decuyper, on the floor of the Arizona State House awaiting the speech by Tom Homan.

Decuyper has talked online about exterminating Jews in a "clean and effective" way and called Jews "our greatest ever (((threat)))."

The ADL and other groups are spending six figures on TV and digital ads to try to ram through a misguided and discriminatory anti-masking law in New York.

Loomer has also befriended neo-Nazi Nick Fuentes, who among other things has openly fantasized about wanting to team up with Hitler to beat Black people to death.

One of those Republicans was Vice President JD Vance, who was still a senator when he was interviewed by Loomer for about a half hour in February 2024.

Others include Sen. Rick Scott and Reps. Nancy Mace, Cory Mills, Brian Mast and Lee Zeldin, the latter of whom is now the EPA administrator.

Trump sycophant Laura Loomer went off on an anti-Black rant about Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett this week that was as racist and dehumanizing as anything Nick Fuentes or David Duke would say.

Loomer called the congresswoman "worse than a domesticated animal" and, repeatedly, a "Black b***h."

Wow. On top of shutting down the federal Long Covid office, Trump and RFK Jr have also canceled funding of at least 45 studies that were trying to figure out what causes the debilitating illness, the first step to finding treatment or a cure.

President Donald J. Trump’s administration this week abruptly terminated funding for a slew of studies designed to learn how to better treat the postviral condition long COVID. They include studies funded through the National Institutes of Health (NIH) initiative called Researching COVID to Enhance Recovery, or RECOVER, a $1.7 billion program that serves as the single largest federal funding mechanism for long COVID research According to Megan Fitzgerald, a researcher and advocate who works closely with RECOVER-funded researchers and who has long COVID herself, all grants for pathobiology studies that RECOVER funded in 2022 and 2023 were canceled this week. That amounts to 45 different studies that were designed to uncover the biological mechanisms that may drive various manifestations of long COVID.

The New York Post is reporting that the FBI is now "tracking" the Tesla Takedown protests and for some unspecified reason also "looking into an anarchist blog being run out of Salt Lake City, Utah."

Mark Finchem, who was just thanked by Congressman Andy Biggs for endorsing his run for Arizona governor, recently spoke at a QAnon conference in Florida that included other speakers who apparently believe in a type of Nazi alien occultism.

Discussion of extraterrestrial races was a recurring theme throughout the weekend. While it’s easy to dismiss the topic as fringe, it was clear how talk of “superior” Aryan alien races and “inferior” alien races was a substitute for thinly veiled white supremacy. One speaker, Kerry Cassidy, discussed aliens interbreeding with humans, referencing the theories of William Dudley Pelley, an occultist and American Nazi who founded the Silver Legion of America, a 1930s fascist paramilitary group. Later, on a panel on UFO disclosure, Cassidy warned of the type of aliens coming across the U.S. border. “We’re all in essence aliens, alien human hybrids. Okay? And there’s a recent alien human hybrid group that is the Grey human hybrid group, which are coming in through the borders,” said Cassidy.

Yesterday staffers were consoling each other and outside supporters with the argument that history is clear: parties that overreach like this get walloped in midterm elections. It may surprise you to hear that I think they’re right. For weeks I’ve thought that by a narrowly electoral calculus it’s probably the better move for the Democrats to simply get out of the way. That was Jim Carville’s advice a few weeks ago. The problem is that by the time Democrats have any chance at power again the federal government will be unrecognizable, a smoldering heap of faits accompli. In his justification speech this afternoon Schumer said that “for Donald Trump, a shutdown would be a gift.” To this we have to assume that doing precisely what Trump demands amounts to some kind of ingenious counterstrike. I doubt that’s true.

With no clear leader to voice our opposition and no control in any branch of government, it's time for Democrats to embark on the most daring political maneuver in the history of our party: roll over and play dead. Allow the Republicans to crumble beneath their own weight and make the American people miss us. Only until the Trump administration has spiraled into the low 40s or high 30s in public approval polling percentages should we make like a pack of hyenas and go for the jugular. Until then, I'm calling for a strategic political retreat.

Should migrants be sent to Guantánamo or to prisons in El Salvador? Not migrants that have their due process, and especially not ones that aren’t dangerous, but certainly ones that are severely dangerous, like people that have committed crimes but we can’t legally hold them here. I think there’s something to be said about that. I’m surprised. For gang members? Criminals? Why would we want to keep gang members and criminals that don’t even have a legal right to be here and Venezuela won’t take them back?

On Friday, Smith, via her personal Facebook, said the video was meant to poke fun at the “insanity going on.” “The AntiDefamation (sic) League stated while it was an awkward gesture, it was not a Nazi salute. But these folks will not accept that. So anyone who does not believe as they do is wrong,” wrote Smith. “And now they think I should be cancelled. They are calling for me to apologize and resign.”
