With proper darkness gradually returning I turned my #StellaMira 90EDT telescope towards the Seahorse dark nebula (Barnard 150) in Cepheus this week.
Quite pleased given limited imaging time & NE London’s Bortle 7/8 light pollution.

Just watched- great stuff.
Must get back to Penmachno… Both of these photos are single exposure, same camera settings etc taken 24 hours apart- not hard to tell which was taken there & back home in London.

Blink and you’ll miss it!
I captured a solar transit by the International Space Station today.

Pic is composite of 19 frames, the transit lasted less than a second.

I love the result a @solarcan.bsky.social gives… a 31.6 million second (give or take a few!) exposure of the sun’s path in 2024.

Clear nights seem to be a rarity at the moment, so when the clouds finally departed the other night the telescope was ready to go… I captured images of the Double Cluster & California Nebula in Perseus, & the Flaming Star nebula in Auriga.
