Did a bit of autumn #astrophotography last night… NGC7789 Caroline’s Rose in Cassiopeia, & the always impressive M31 Andromeda Galaxy.

With proper darkness gradually returning I turned my #StellaMira 90EDT telescope towards the Seahorse dark nebula (Barnard 150) in Cepheus this week.
Quite pleased given limited imaging time & NE London’s Bortle 7/8 light pollution.

I captured a solar transit by the International Space Station today.

Pic is composite of 19 frames, the transit lasted less than a second.

Definitely getting into #GalaxySeason… a selection of some lovely sights in the spring skies, imaged from NE London early April with my 6” StellaLyra RC scope.

Managed some #astrophotography last night… first visit this season to the Rosette Nebula in Monoceros

I love the result a @solarcan.bsky.social gives… a 31.6 million second (give or take a few!) exposure of the sun’s path in 2024.

Clear nights seem to be a rarity at the moment, so when the clouds finally departed the other night the telescope was ready to go… I captured images of the Double Cluster & California Nebula in Perseus, & the Flaming Star nebula in Auriga.
