Proud of Gabi and Peyton for their hardwork this semester providing Phonomotor Treatment to a person with aphasia as a part of a larger clinic-research partnership.

They gave a phenomenal poster presentation last week!

This is such a cool tool to see how much NIH has done for different medical conditions.

I research aphasia. Here's what it says... just wow!

Honored to display your work. (But still need to get it actually on the wall!) It stops everyone in their tracks, a great conversation starter!

With the shift to here, I wanted to share our exciting news and what we are up to in the lab...

We (Dr. Sameer Ashaie and I) received an R21 grant from #NIH / #NIDCD

We will formalize an innovative complexity model of aphasia that informs a holistic, precision medicine approach to #aphasia #rehab

New Pub with Cynthia Siew in Aphasiology!

www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10....

Does cat and bat sound similar? Cat-wine? Cat-camp?

We found two patterns of performance on this task by persons with aphasia. One pattern reflected younger and older adult controls and one pattern did not!

The Lab was well represented at #ASHA23! Two UGs Tina and Ofosua presented posters (both are interested in PhDs 😉) and I received an Early Career Research Award 🎉 Always a good time reconnecting and reflecting with everyone!
