In April 2008, I created a free Wordpress account and began writing what I knew—dance. A few weeks later I created a Twitter account and found a small community of dancers there. 10K followers later, Twitter grew and changed. Today it’s not only unrecognizable but uninhabitable. Hello butterflies.🦋

I’m feeling the pull to try to dislodge myself from social media spaces I’ve long been a part of. I have photos, memories and connections I don’t want to lose and I can’t simply delete accounts because I work in mar/comm. It’s a process. #DecentralizedSocial #ByeByeMETA

“When women are free to make their own decisions about their lives and to follow our dreams, we are unstoppable.”

Cecile was a force of nature. May her memory be a blessing.

Honestly, the 18z Euro snow forecast is remarkably similar to a (much lighter) version of the 1895 snowstorm.

In 2024, I showed up and did my best through highs and lows. I made memories with my children. I don’t know what 2025 will bring but if 12 months from now I can say the same, it’ll be another year well-lived.
