3 weeks work to move the stands & fence back & lay new section of 3g pitch to comply with FA instructions. Also doubled our number of seats in the stand behind the goal. Wonder how many other Non League clubs have done changes following the Billy Vigar tragedy?

The wettest game I've ever attended. Literally soaked through to my pants. Then 4 hours on a coach home that reassembled a Turkish bathhouse. One old boy had to go straight to hospital. We never saw him again. Ahh, memories.
