Also, people are also often very hesitant to share information about their incomes, even in a pseudonymised survey where their answers cannot be linked back to them.
For household: Distribution is bimodal at £15k - £20k and £25k - £30k, with a dip to the category between and an approx. normal distribution around that.
Both variables have a long tail to higher values (partly because of a floor at the lower end of the scale).
