@deviantollam.bsky.social Good laugh for you: My SO and I were out at a company Christmas party. Upon entering the elevator at the location, I remarked that I really liked the particular controls and floor indicator they used. We were both disappointed the floor indicator was broken though.

I need motivation to finish modeling an animating Cyber Nic. He's so close to being done, but I keep getting distracted by something every time I sit at my computer. Also, I now can access my Jellyfin server the Internet.

Grew some oyster mushrooms. Once they get going, they go fast! Hopefully they'll be a fine addition to my next ramen dish.

I spent 3 hours last night setting up a VM on my home server so I could have an extra blender node instead of just my main rig. Come to find out, it's so slow that it actually took longer to render the same test file.

I'm realizing more and more that it's not that I hate going to work. Work is fine, the people there are chill, and what I do is honestly fun some days.
What I hate is that I do my tasks all day, only for me to give most of my reward for the task to someone else. They seem to do little of any task.

Big victory last night: completely disassembled my Quest 2 controllers, removed and cleaned the joysticks, then reassembled. They honestly feel better than new. Hopefully they'll stay that way until I upgrade or stop playing games.
