We had lunch at a table near him in the Hunter Valley 15 years or so ago. He was so rude to the (mainly female) staff even his guests were embarrassed. Revolting.

In Australia no one has to show ID to vote. This is because many people may not have an approved ID. We refuse to have an Australian identity card and the three top approved forms of ID are a driver's licence, birth certificate or passport. There are many people that don't have these documents.

There is something called the sole purpose test. Super can only be used for the purpose of funding retirement. It also means you can't invest in art and put it in your house for example. Otherwise people would be getting tax incentives for other purposes which aren't retirement.

I really need a decent independent in my federal seat. I think it's time to make that happen.
