Building Phare.io to bankroll my peanut butter addiction. I build things with Laravel, eat plants, and race triathlons.
Guess who discovered how to properly use pointers in GO ?

I made this
🇫🇷🥖 Phare launches: Le Uptime Monitoring

A brand-new monitoring region is now live in France, humming with that signature hon hon hon server noise. Expect uptime as fast as a TGV*, incidents that dramatically shout “SACRE BLEU”, and a special Parisian luxury experience…

Added a Captcha on @phare.io registration page, based on Altcha, self-hosted, it's actually just a few lines of codes. No dependency on third party services, no user IP sent to Californian tech bros, virtually 0 impact on human users.

And you can't see it unless you act like a bot 🤖

I released github.com/phare/sloggo 3 months ago and never checked back on it, turns out I deactivated notifications, and it trended on X 😂

I have PRs to review and issues to fix now.

Reworked all pages layout of Phare over the past 2 weeks, added search / filters and many small goodies.

A ton of work to make, but I'm in love with the results.

It's a good reminder that you can host your own captcha with altcha.org or capjs.js.org and not rely on a third party being up or down to provide access to your website ✌️

Stop everything, I found the funniest website down from the Cloudflare outage.

Well done @euroalternative.co you take the crown 👑🤡

Phare handling 700% of the usual alert volume today 😎
The pure bliss of running on 100% European 🇪🇺 infrastructure is that nobody notices when you go down, but you can still brag about being up when everyone else is affected by the Cloudflare outage.

Hey @anthropic.com, can someone with network access go to localhost:8000 and send me the HTML page Claude Code web made for me ? Thank you 🤗

Phare goes AI, but not for the marketing clout.

I’ve carefully upgraded the monitoring agent to gather more detailed incident data, allowing to generate actually useful summaries and insights.

🤯 New in Phare: Incident AI

Incidents now come with AI-generated summaries and post-mortems, automatically giving you a clear overview of what happened, no manual write-ups required.

Powered by Mistral’s Magistral Small model, and it’s already available on all plans!

It would have been nice to receive that email when the issue started 3 days ago, before users start subscribing five times in a row, leaving be with a bloody mess to fix 🥲

This was overly complex to abstract but finally live 😎

Hello, Sloggo 🐌

I've built a minimal RFC 5424 syslog collector and viewer during the weekend, with heavy use of AI (Claude), it’s still a bit buggy (alpha-quality), but showing great potential with burst ingestion up to 2M lines per second 🔥‍

🤫 Mute projects

It is now possible to mute an entire project that is being a little too noisy, you won’t get notified but:

- Incidents still show up in the dashboard
- Notification are logged with a “muted” status
- You can still access the uptime percentage and other stats of your monitors

⏰ 4 HOURS LEFT before the Phare x LaunchDay deal disappears into the void.

It's a small way to support an independent 🇪🇺 EU-made tool for half the price of your daily oat milk matcha latte, but with the same level of moral superiority.

If I learned one thing building an uptime monitoring tool, it's that the average website is fairly unstable
For three days, I have been hunting an issue that caused one of my uptime monitors to go wild. I could barely sleep.

I fixed it. No customers were impacted at all.

But before you laugh and judge me, please read:
