We are proud of it. We will protect it.

Because the @ec.europa.eu is the guardian of our values.

The arrest of Greta Thunberg for peacefully opposing genocide and supporting those on hunger strike is wrongful and disturbing.

This is yet another shocking example of the UK’s broad terrorism laws being used to target those exercising their right to freedom of expression and assembly rights.

We will never be able to match the sacrifice of the Ukrainian people.

But we will support their fight for survival for as long as it takes.

Because Ukraine’s security is our security.

Jimmy Lai's conviction is a blow to press freedom everywhere.

In Hong Kong, the role of journalism in holding power to account is now treated as a crime.

Jimmy Lai is a prisoner of conscience.

The fight doesn't end here. We will not rest until justice prevails. ✊

61% of UK adults believe it should no longer be a crime for two or more sex workers to work together.

And 53% of us agree that consensual sex work should be fully decriminalised.

Sex work exists because poverty exists.

Sex work must be decriminalised NOW.

Good meeting in Berlin tonight.

We are seeing real progress thanks to the alignment between Ukraine, Europe and the US.

Ukrainians are bravely defending their independence every day.

They deserve a peace worthy of their courage ↓

Last year, the EU adopted its first-ever law to fight violence against women and domestic violence.

But this is not the end of the story.

Tonight, Europe shines orange as a reminder of our responsibility:

To ensure every woman can live without fear.
